Cavaliers Announce Free 'Wine And Gold' Scrimmage For Fans

The Cleveland Cavaliers are gearing up to open the new NBA season in style in the coming weeks, as the team revealed its plans on Tuesday to offer a free Wine and Gold Scrimmage at Quicken Loans Arena on Oct. 6.

The event, which is presented by FirstEnergy Solutions, will begin at 5 p.m. ET and features full player introductions and a bevy of other games and activities on the court. In addition to offering fans $1 hot dogs and $1 sodas at concession stands, a number of games including pop-a-shot will be available for people of any age along the concourse.

Doors will officially open at 4 p.m., and tickets can be picked up right now at the Quicken Loans box office or any Discount Drug Mart in the state of Ohio. There is a maximum of six tickets per transaction, but with numerous giveaways expected it may be smart to guarantee your spot immediately for this free event.
