There was a little dust-up this week between ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit and Columbus sports talk radio host Scott Torgerson, prompted by a controversial and distasteful Tweet from "The Torg." The radio host, who's known for controversial statements, fired off a Tweet about Herbstreit's ESPN GameDay colleague, Desmond Howard:
I see some unannounced torg day off coming RT @myguythetorg: I wish Desmond Howard would get fired or die so I can watch Gameday again

Torgerson deleted his Twitter account shortly after sending the incendiary Tweet, and as you'd expect, the contretemps was on.
He was suspended by 97.1 The Fan in Columbus, but that didn't stop Herbstreit from addressing the statement. The former OSU quarterback pulled no punches, ripping Torgerson on his own station. Audio of Herbstreit blasting Torgenson (h/t AA):
