Needing one win to reach 70 wins for the season, the Indians are throwing a venerable and proven starter at the White Sox today. That’s right — Justin Germano, who has not had a start in the majors since he was with the San Diego Padres in 2008, will take the mound this afternoon.
Nothing against Germano, who has proven to be effective this season out of the bullpen. But needing that one more win…we will see what happens this afternoon in Chicago against Edwin Jackson.
I am not counting on an Indians’ win.
