The Indians will finish their 2010 home schedule with a blast from the past on Wednesday, playing a ‘traditional’ twi-night doubleheader against the Tigers. Fans will get two games for the price of one, something rarely seen in baseball any longer.
Fans holding tickets dated Wednesday, September 29 will be treated to two games for the price of one, featuring Fill the House for Ronald McDonald House of Greater Cleveland.
Gates will open at 3:00 p.m. The second game will begin approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Probable matchups for tomorrow’s doubleheader are RHP Mitch Talbot (9-13, 4.61) vs. RHP Max Scherzer (12-10, 3.40) for Game 1 and RHP Josh Tomlin (5-4, 4.50) vs. RHP Justin Verlander (18-8, 3.31) for Game 2.
