Rob Neyer Joins SBNation

A great day for us 'little guys' as Rob Neyer, formerly of ESPN, has joined SBNation.  Neyer worked directly for the founder of baseball sabermetrics Bill James and has literally written more words on ESPN.com than anyone.  Neyer has written or co-written six baseball books, including Rob Neyer's Big Book Of Baseball Legends.

You can check out Neyer's first column for SBNation.com here.  I think he describes perfectly why many of us have gotten into this form of writing and how we hope those in the 'mainstream' view us.  CNBC talks about the move as well.

Head on over and welcome Rob to SBNation!
