Cleveland closer Chris Perez broke his silence about the Indians and now-former manager Manny Acta on Tuesday in an interview with Matt Loede of 92.3 The Fan. Perez took aim at the departed manager, saying a lot of his issues with the organization "walked out the door last week." Loede Tweeted plenty of choice excerpts from the interview, including this shot:

Perez said that Acta and he would go "long stretches without speaking" and that the team only had two meetings over the course of the year.

Perez also told Loede that he does not want a trade, and that comments made in Chicago last week to that effect were only in "the heat of the moment." According to the closer, his meeting with Cleveland GM Chris Antonetti last week was "very professional." Perez says he expects to be in Cleveland at least two more years.
