Cleveland Indians shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera has a six team no-trade list, according to Fox Sports' Jon Morosi. The teams on that list are the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, San Francisco Giants, Washington Nationals, and New York Mets. Cabrera can still be traded to one of those teams, but would likely ask for more money from the team in order to get the deal done.
Cabrera is thought of by many in baseball as one of the players most likely to get traded this offseason. Cabrera made his second All-Star Game appearance this past season and ended the year hitting .270 with 16 home runs and 68 RBIs. He's 27 years old, and has two years left on a three year, $21 million contract he signed before last season.
One of the teams most rumored to be after Cabrera is the Indians' AL Central rival, the Detroit Tigers. Morosi doesn't think a trade between the two teams is impossible in this case, but Cleveland may be asking for a higher return than from other teams if it means sending Cabrera to Detroit.
