MLB Winter Meetings: Indians having 'extensive dialogue' in Nashville

The Cleveland Indians are talking to a lot of teams at the Winter Meetings in Nashville, Tenn.

The Cleveland Indians are keeping busy at the Winter Meetings in Nashville, Tenn. The Indians have said they are open to trade proposals for all of their stars and general manager Chris Antonetti said "we've had extensive dialogue with a lot of teams."

Cleveland's plans with its top players will have an affect on its ability to draw free agents to the Indians. Cleveland has been linked to both free agents Kevin Youkilis and Shane Victorino.

The Indians have already added Mike Aviles and Yan Gomes to their roster this offseason. The addition of Aviles has some speculating that the Indians are looking to trade shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera. Cleveland is also looking into offers for right fielder Shin-Shoo Choo, who is entering the final year of his contract.

Last season Cleveland went 68-94 and finished with the second-worst record in the American League. They have signed Terry Francona to take over as their manager.
