The Cleveland Indians have placed infielder Asdrubal Cabrera on a Bereavement List due to a death in his family, according to the offical Twitter of the Cleveland Indians.

In eight games, Cabrera was hitting .282 with two home runs and three RBI. Jason Donald will likely take Cabrera's spot at shortstop. Donald has a career batting average of .272 in 438 at-bats.
Nick Hagadone pitched in nine games for the Indians last season in his major league debut. He went 1-0, pitched 11 innings and allowed five earned runs. In 109 games in the minor leagues, Hagadone has established a record of 10-14 with a 2.80 ERA in 241.1 innings pitched.
