Indians Vs. Royals Final Score: Cleveland Gives Up 7 Early, Loses 8-2

After taking the first of a three-game series, the Cleveland Indians dropped the second on Tuesday night by a score of 8-2.

Justin Masterson, going for his third consecutive quality start, gave up seven runs in the first two innings. He would settle down to toss six innings (eight strikeouts and no walks), but the damage had already been done.

The Indians scored twice in the bottom of the first inning to tie the game at 2-2, but that's all the bats would produce. The Indians had just three scattered hits after the first inning.

The rubber match for the series will be on Wednesday at 12:05 p.m. ET.
