Indians Vs. White Sox Final Score: Cleveland Edges Chicago 7-5

The Cleveland Indians defeated the Chicago White Sox by a final score of 7-5 on Thursday night.

The Indians rode the hot bats of Jason Kipnis and Asdrubal Cabrera on offense to secure the victory. It started early as Kipnis tripled in the third inning which scored Johnny Damon and Cabrera followed that up with a single to score Kipnis which gave the Tribe an early 3-0 lead.

Kipnis finished the game with four RBI's and scored two runs while Cabrera knocked in two RBI's and scored one run.

The White Sox made things interesting in the bottom of the ninth inning on a two-run homer by Adam Dunn with just one out, but Chicago would be unable to generate anymore offense late, giving Cleveland the series win at US Cellular Field, 2-1.
