With the game in the top of the eighth inning and the Cleveland Indians leading the Chicago White Sox 2-1, Monday night's second game of a doubeheader is expected to resume shortly, according to the Indians:
Just got word from the umpires; play between the #Indians & #WhiteSox is expected to resume at 10:35p.m. ET here at Progressive Field
— Cleveland Indians (@Indians) May 8, 2012
The White Sox will have two men on with one out in the eighth and Alex Rios hitting. Dan Wheeler just replaced Indians' starter Josh Tomlin, who struck out eight in 7.1 innings. He is obviously responsible for the two runners on when the game resumes.
