Indians Vs. Reds Final Score: Cabrera's 2-Run Home Run Gives Cleveland 3-2 Win In 10th

Asdrubal Cabrera hit a two-run homer off flame throwing Cincinnati reliever Aroldis Chapman to give the Cleveland Indians a 3-2 win in extra innings at Progressive Field on Tuesday night.

The Indians' shortstop won the game after Shin-Soo Choo set the table with a single up the middle, creating the opportunity for the game winner and giving Cleveland their second one-run win in the interleague series against the in-state rival Reds.

Chris Heisley accounted for both Cincinnati runs, singling home Zack Cozart in the first inning and then scoring on a wild pitch in the 10th to give the Reds a lead and set up Cabrera to deliver his herorics. Chapman took the loss for the Reds along with his third blown save on the season which spoiled a solid start by Mike Leake.

Cleveland used five pitchers to keep the Reds offense in check all night as starter Josh Tomlin pitched into seventh inning, giving up just one run. Reliever Nick Hagadone earned the win, his first on the year after 22 appearances. The win improved the Indians' record to 35-32 on the season and put them back in first place in the AL Central Division by percentage points over the Chicago White Sox.

The two teams will wrap up their series on Wednesday night with Cincinnati's Bronson Arroyo scheduled to start against Clevelan's Justin Masterson.
