Indians Vs. Reds: Cleveland Sweeps Cincinnati With Dominant Win

The Indians finished off a three-game sweep of the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday night with an 8-1 win at Progressive Field.

Justin Masterson was brilliant for Cleveland, pitching a complete game and giving up just three hits. He struck out nine. When Masterson allowed a run on a Willie Harris ground out in the eighth inning, it ended his 18-inning scoreless streak.

The Indians took a 5-0 lead in the fourth inning off a pair of home runs. Johnny Damon hit a two-run shot, just his third of the season. This was followed by Asdrubal Cabrera's second in as many days, a three-run bomb to right-center field.

Lonnie Chisenhall extended the lead to 8-0 with a bases loaded double in the seventh inning.

The Indians have an off-day Thursday. They will begin a three-game series in Houston on Friday.
