Indians Vs. Yankees Score Update: Cleveland Down Big In Big Apple

The Cleveland Indians' three-game series against the New York Yankees hasn't gotten off to the best of starts. After four innings in the first game of the series Monday night, they are down 6-0 at Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees scored two runs in each of the first three innings. In the first, Robinson Cano doubled to score Curtis Granderson and Mark Teixeira. In the second, Dewayne Wise hit a two-run home run. In the third, Robinson Cano and Nick Swisher had solo shots.

Indians starter Josh Tomlin was replaced by Scott Barnes after three innings. He has posted a 6.82 ERA over his last six starts, via Jordan Bastian.

Yankees starter Hiroki Kuroda has given up just two hits in four innings, a single from Michael Brantley in the second and a single from Shin-Soo Choo in the third.
