Indians Vs. Orioles Final Score: Cleveland Dominates In 11-5 Game Three Win

The Cleveland Indians dropped game two of a four-game set against the Baltimore Orioles in somewhat infuriating fashion. It was a close game in which both teams had high-powered offenses - ending 9-8. This was following a game one in which the Tribe won 7-2, so it was very frustrating to lose in such a fashion.

Cue game three and Cleveland sets things right. The Indians came out and lit up the Orioles in an 11-5 win to go up on the series and guarantee a split at the very least. Dana Eveland made the start for Baltimore, and he did well through three innings. It was in the fourth when the wheels came off though and he had to be pulled in favor of Tommy Hunter.

Asdrubal Cabrera scored Lou Marson in the fourth, and then Jason Kipnis scored Shin Soo Choo. At that point, Hunter came in and Cabrera was brought in before the inning came to an end. But Hunter was shelled in the next inning, giving up three runs in the fifth, and giving up a solo homerun to Shelley Duncan at the top of the sixth before being pulled.

Luis Ayala and Kevin Gregg were finally able to take the game into the ninth inning and stop the bleeding, but hte damage was done. Josh Tomlin made the start for the Indians, and did well at first, but surrendered all five of the runs given up in the end over six innings of pitching. Esmil Rogers pitched the seventh inning and was the winning pitcher.

The series will be decided in game four on Sunday at 1:35 p.m.
