Indians Vs. Mariners Preview: Felix Hernandez Follows Up Perfect Game

Tonight, two teams heading in opposite directions collide. As the Seattle Mariners search for their seventh win in a row, the Cleveland Indians will look to avoid their seventh loss in a row.

The Indians will certainly have their work cut out for them, since they'll face Mariners ace Felix Hernandez, who is fresh off a perfect game in his last start.

The Indians have struggled to score runs lately, averaging less than four per game during their recent losing streak.

One of the only pieces of encouraging news for the Indians is that King Felix really struggled against the Tribe earlier this season. In his worst start of the year, Hernandez managed only 3.2 innings, allowing 8 runs (6 earned), 10 hits, and 3 walks on May 16.

The Indians will send Roberto Hernandez to the bump, making only his second start of 2012.

Tuesday's game will start at 10:10 PM EDT.
