Indians Vs. Yankees: Cleveland Snaps Losing Streak With 3-1 Win

With a three run home run in the bottom of the first inning, Indians centerfielder Michael Brantley gave his team a 3-0 lead, and that was all the offense necessary to snap a nine-game losing streak for the team.

The Yankees -- who were swept during the week by the Chicago White Sox -- seemed to get back on track with a 3-1 win over the Indians on Friday, but continued their offensive slump on Saturday. Justin Masterson pitched into the seventh inning for the Indians, allowing just one run before he was pulled.

Both Vinnie Pestano and Chris Perez made appearances in relief, but neither allowed a hit to the Yankees to preserve the victory. The final game of the three-game series will be played on Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. ET.
