2012 MLB Standings Update: Cleveland Indians Trying To Avoid Last Place, Hold Off Minnesota Twins

The Indians have a 1-game lead on the Minnesota Twins, who are in last place in the AL Central.

The Cleveland Indians open a three-game series at 1:05 p.m. in Detroit Monday, hoping to avoid falling into last place in the AL Central standings. The Minnesota Twins, who open a series today against the Chicago White Sox, trail Cleveland by just one game for fourth in the division. Detroit and Chicago are tied for first in the division standings. The Indians trail third place Kansas City by 4.5 games.
