Indians Vs. Twins Game Preview: Cleveland Looks To Win Its Fourth Game In Last Five

The Cleveland Indians expanded their lead over the Minnesota Twins in the race to not finish last in the AL Central. That may not seem like a real thing, but this is Cleveland and Minnesota we're talking about. The Tribe's come-from-behind 7-6 win Friday came off the strength of Cord Phelps' based-loaded walk in the seventh inning.

It was Cleveland's third win in its last four games after winning only three games in its previous three weeks of play.

Fortunately for Cleveland, the Twins, who clinched a non-winning record for the second consecutive year Friday, are struggling even more.

Cleveland will throw Zach McAllister at the Twins at 6:10 p.m. ET Saturday in Minnesota. McAllister has struggled recently, posting a 1-4 record with a 6.08 ERA, 1.57 WHIP, walking 13 in his previous 37 innings pitched. The Twins will counter with Cole DeVries, who has allowed 24 earned runs in 32 innings pitched at Target Field this season.
