Indians Vs. Twins Final Score: Cleveland Falls 3-0 As Offense Manages Just Four Hits

The Indians offense failed to do much of anything tonight, managing only four hits on the evening. Zach McAllister became the second straight Indians starter to be knocked out without completing four innings of work as he was lifted due to pitch count concerns after the completion of the third.

The Indians fell behind in the bottom of the third as Joe Mauer and Josh Willingham drove in runs for the Twins to put them up 2-0. The bullpen took over in the fourth, and they only gave up a single run on the night in their six innings of work. That run came as Scott Maine walked Justin Morneau to force Ben Revere home in the fifth. The Indians bullpen shut down the Twins the rest of the way.

The Indians and Twins will face off again tomorrow at 2:10 p.m. ET. Corey Kluber will take the hill for Cleveland, he'll be opposed by Esmerling Vasquez of the Twins.
