Blue Jackets Vs. Predators Final Score: Columbus Drops Another To Nashville, 4-1

In their last of six games against each other this season, the Nashville Predators closed out a nearly-perfect campaign (5-0-1) against the lowly Columbus Blue Jackets, who remain entrenched at the bottom of the NHL. Nashville's 4-1 win over the Blue Jackets on Monday night was their third in a row and their 11th in the last 13 games.

Nashville outshot the Blue Jackets 12-3 in the first period and took the lead on Mike Fisher's 10th goal of the season a little over eight minutes in. Columbus' red hot Rick Nash evened the score in a better second period for the Blue Jackets, but Fisher's second goal in the final minute of the period put the Predators back up. Nashville then scored twice unanswered in the third (on just five shots) to cap their second straight three goal win against the Blue Jackets in less than a week.

Columbus is 3-6-1 in their last ten games and play in Tampa Bay Tuesday night.
