The Columbus Blue Jackets had one of their worst games in recent memory Tuesday as they got absolutely pummeled 6-0 by the San Jose Sharks. They continue to trek against California teams Wednesday as they get a shot at the Los Angeles Kings. LA will be well rested if not a bit rusty as they were one of the few teams to get Tuesday off in the NHL.

The Jackets did hand the Kings one of their only two losses under new coach Darryl Sutter, winning 1-0 at Staples Center on January 7th as the Kings failed to score on eight power plays. The Jackets are 2-7-1 in their last 10 games so momentum isn't on their side and that previous victory might be the only thing they have to push them. They lost their other matchup to the Kings in December 2-1 in Columbus.

The game will be at Staples Center at 10:30 PM ET.
