Blue Jackets Vs. Blues Final Score: St. Louis Ends Columbus' 4 Game Win Streak

The Blue Jackets promising winning-streak is no more, as the St. Louis Blues throttled Columbus 4-1 on Saturday night to end the streak at four games.

David Perron opened the scoring for St. Louis with his 13th goal of the season, but Cam Atkinson netted the tying tally for Columbus less than two and a half minutes into the second period. The Blues would do all the scoring from there, putting home two more second period goals and adding another in the third period to put the game out of reach.

Brian Elliott, who leads the league with a 1.63 goals against average, stopped 21 of the 22 Columbus shots he saw on the night, and the Blues maintain their lead atop the Western Confernce.

The Blue Jackets fall to 22-39-7 on the season, and remain at the bottom of the Western Conference standings with just 51 points.
