For the second straight day the Columbus Blue Jackets dropped a game to the St. Louis Blues. The two teams had Saturday-Sunday home and home series and the blues were able to win both games after earning a narrow 2-1 victory in Columbus on Sunday night.
Patrick Berglund and Mark Letestu each scored goals int he second period to make it 1-1 going into the final period, but it was David Perron that scored his 14th goal of the season for the Blues with just over 16 minutes left. from there, it was up to goaltender Jaroslav Halak, who saved 33 shots on the day, including all 12 he faced in the third period.
Ryan Johansen, Brett Lebda each had an assist on the goal by Letestu for Columbus.
