Michigan football has sunk to the bottom. Rich Rodriguez was reportedly fired by the school today after going 15-22 in three seasons with the Wolverines, including a 52-14 loss to Mississippi State in the Gator Bowl three days ago.
↵Rodriguez started fast the last couple of seasons, going 4-0 last year and 5-0 in 2010 before disappointing in Big Ten play. The Wolverines were also just 1-10 against ranked opponents, including 0-3 against Michigan St., Ohio St. and Wisconsin during RichRod's time in Ann Arbor.
↵Michigan would love to bring back former quarterback - and current Stanford Cardinal head coach Jim Harbaugh to rebuild the once-proud program but it appears Harbaugh has narrowed his choices down to remaining at Stanford or turning pro, possibly with the San Francisco 49ers.
↵It is a sad day for Buckeyes fans everywhere since seeing Michigan become irrelevant has been a joy indeed!
