Ohio State Vs. Purdue: Along The Olentangy Confident Of An Ohio State Victory

the Ohio State offense has been one-dimensional during its three game winning streak over Indiana, Wisconsin, and Illinois, but a solid running game and a stout defense have made the difference. As the Buckeyes head to West Lafayette this week to face Purdue in a game they need to have in order to stay alive in the Legends Division race SB Nation's Along the Olentangy is feeling very confident int he defense against an erratic Purdue offense:

Really, there is little excuse for Ohio State's defense to not dominate Purdue. The Boilermakers have been inept against talented defenses, and the Buckeyes may be the best they've seen yet. Ohio State should push the Purdue running game backwards and have no trouble with the anemic passing attack, which more often than not shoots itself in the foot.

The Buckeyes are looking to reverse their trend of games in West Lafayette. The Buckeyes have lost three of their past five games at Ross-Ade Stadium.
