Ohio State Vs. Penn State Score Update: Buckeyes Trail 20-14 Going Into Fourth

The Ohio State Buckeyes entered the third quarter trailing the Penn State Nittany Lions, and that's how they'll enter the final quarter as well. Both teams began with a pair of punts, and then Ohio State got set to drive at 8:52. But Dan Herron was stopped for a loss of five yards, and Penn State's Jordan Hill recovered a fumble, giving them the ball at the OSU 11 yard-line. Penn State picked up some yardage, reached 2nd down twice, got a holding penalty in their favor, and then ended up with a 2nd and goal at the OSU one yard-line.

Michael Zordich was stuffed three times in a row and Penn State decided to go for it at 4th and goal at the one yard-line. Silas Reed was stuffed and Ohio state got a turnover on downs. Ohio State got out of their own endzone, getting to the 35-yard line, but they cough up the ball again, as Carlos Hyde fumbles at the end of an 11-yard rush. Penn State took over, punted, and Ohio State had the ball at the end of the quarter.
