The Ohio St. Buckeyes have won all nine of their home contests in Columbus this season -- their only loss came on the road against the Kansas Jayhawks -- and will look to improve that record to 10-0 on Tuesday night. The Lamar Cardinals are visiting the Buckeyes, but Jared Sullinger is expected to return from injury for the winnable game against their Southland Conference foes.

Sullinger's status is still technically up in the air, but Along The Olentangy doesn't expect his status to make a huge difference in the outcome of Tuesday night's affair.

Whether Sullinger plays or not should minimally affect the ultimate outcome against Lamar. In a tribute to fine scheduling, Ohio State has buffered tough games, like the aforementioned Kansas and Duke, or projected tough opponents, like South Carolina, with cupcakes in-between. Lamar, while more respectable than USC Upstate, is decidedly cupcake-esque. Lamar finished ninth in the Southland Conference last season and, despite definite improvement, has fallen to all three teams within the RPI Top 50 they've faced this season.

The Buckeyes will play the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks on Thursday before opening their Big Ten schedule next Wednesday against the Northwestern Wildcats.
