The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes are currently chasing Syracuse for the best team in the nation, and a win over the No. 15 Indiana Hoosiers would certainly help their cause. Not as much as it would have had Indiana not suffered their first loss of the season in their last outing, but it remains a tough challenge either way. Still, through one half of play, the Buckeyes are playing well, taking a sizable lead, doubling up on the Hoosiers at the beginning.
Indiana responded well though, and with less-than five minutes left, they pilled within four, and in the final minute, took the lead in a big way. Six-straight points in the final minute from Cody Zeller, among others, put Indiana in the lead for the first time, closing out the first half with a 33-32 lead and smelling upset.
Aaron Craft leads Ohio State players with seven points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals, while Verdell Jones III leads the Hoosiers with 12 points and a rebound. For now, it's a very close game, but Ohio State needs to be careful, as it's the kind of game the Hoosiers have been winning all season.
