Jared Sullinger Injury Update: Buckeyes Big Man Should Play Against Jayhawks

Jared Sullinger is one of the most important members of the Ohio State men's basketball program so it'll be imperative that he's healthy down the stretch for the Buckeyes. His back injury caused him to miss the team's last game, but it seems as though he could play in this weekend's game against the Kansas Jayhawks.

Sullinger is dealing with back spasms, but head coach Thad Matta indicated to the Cleveland Plain Dealer that he should be able to play on Saturday if there aren't any setbacks.

"He just told me he feels great," coach Thad Matta said. "He said he feels a lot better. He said he woke up dancing this morning, but I don't know what that entails."

"He's doing more every day. Quite honestly, I don't know if we'll know until Saturday if he's going to play or not," Matta said. "It's amazing how much better he's moving, but we've got two more days to look at it."

If Sullinger is unable to play on Saturday, Thomas Robinson and the Jayhawks could have a field day inside against the Buckeyes.
