National Signing Day: Glenville Linebacker Frank Clark Heads To Michigan

Michigan football received a jolt today when sstadnout tight end/linebakcer Frank Clark of Glenville picked the Wolverines over Cal, Michigan State and North Carolina.

Pierre Woods was the last Tarblooder to pick Michigan and according to Cleveland.com Clark says Woods had a lot to do with his decision to end up in Ann Arbor:

“Pierre and I were texting each other and he had a lot to do with my decision to go to Michigan,” said Clark, who will play safety or linebacker at the next level. “It’s a great school which will provide me with a good education and it’s a football program that’s determined to get back to where it used to be.”

The Wolverines got a late start on recruiting after firing head coach Rich Rodriguez, but are coming on strong late in the recruiting season.
