Sweet 16: NCAA Tournament Returns With Connecticut Huskies Vs. San Diego State Aztecs

The 2011 NCAA Tournament gears back up tonight with the first four games of the Sweet 16.  The Ohio State Buckeyes won't play until tomorrow night, but there is plenty of entertaining action, headlined by the Connecticut Huskies going up against the No. 2 seed San Diego St. Aztecs.

Here is a look at each game and where you can find it.  For all of you truTV fans I hate to break the news that it's time with the tournament is over.

No one has been hotter the past 3 weeks or so than the UConn Huskies.  First, coach Jim Calhoun's team won five games in 5 days to win the Big East Tournament.  Earning a No. 3 seed, the Huskies have continued winning, beating Bucknell 81-52, then taking down Big East rival Cincinnati 69-58.  Not bad for a team picked to finish 10th in the Big East in the preseason coaches poll.

"I'm happy. Elated," said Calhoun. "I can't tell you I wrote it down, because I usually try to write where I think we'll be at the end of the season. ... They have the most resilience of any team I've ever coached. We're playing the best basketball right now, and everything that could happen good, has happened good."

As for SDSU, they also have a coach with some experience in the Tournament.  Steve Fisher won a National Championship at the University of Michigan in 1989, and was the man that brought the Fab-5 to Ann Arbor in 1991.  With the Aztecs, however, Fisher has already done something never before accomplished at the School - Advance to the Sweet 16.

"You see the rankings and you see us up there, but people don't really know much about us," Aztecs forward Tim Shelton said. "We're finally getting an opportunity to let people see what we're about. Our guys feed off that. We understand that we're seen as a mid-major, so people feel like (we) don't deserve it because (we) don't consistently play the same type of competition. But we've won 34 games. That's a whole lot of wins."

MY PICK:  Who doesn't love a story like SDSU's?  That said, it is hard to pick against UConn - especially with how hot they've been of late.  Kemba Walker looks unstoppable and no lead against the Huskies appears to be safe.
