Buckeyes Cruising at Halftime

Ohio State is getting their revenge against Wisconsin, a team that ended their undefeated season only a couple of weeks ago.

Jon Diebler and Jared Sullinger have combined for 28 points, and the Buckeyes lead 47-32 at the half.

Ohio State is shooting a staggering 68 percent from the field, and has out-rebounded the Badgers 16-10. Another big reason the Buckeyes have such a comfortable lead—three point shooting. As a team, they are 6-7 from beyond the arc including a shot right before the half by Diebler to give the Buckeyes their largest lead.

After losing to the Badgers and then to Purdue shortly after, a quality win at home is just what the doctor ordered for Ohio State, and if they continue to play like this, they are certainly well on their way. Wisconsin is a great defensive team, one of the toughest in the Big Ten conference, but there is no competing with near flawless shooting, which is what Ohio State is doing right now.

If Wisconsin is going to compete with Ohio State, they are going to have to be more aggressive and get to the line. The Badgers have yet to make a free throw attempt.
