Ohio State Rolls Over Wisconsin 93-65

The Wisconsin Badgers went into today’s game against top ranked Ohio State as one of the best defensive teams in the conference, and they left it dumbfounded as the Buckeyes offensive attack was completely dominant on the day.

Jon Diebler and Jared Sullinger combined for 49 points, and Diebler connected on 7 of his 8 three point attempts in a nearly flawless offensive effort. Ohio State shot a staggering 68.1 percent from the floor, and a whopping 93.3 percent from three point range. Even with a top tier defensive effort by Wisconsin, the perfect shooting efforts of Ohio State were too hot to handle.

Ohio State had already laid claim to the Big Ten title after Purdue lost last night, but they made sure everyone knew who the real kings of the court were by hosting a top ten squad and absolutely dominating on both ends of the floor.

Four of Ohio State’s starting five were in double figures on the day, with Diebler leading the way with 27 points on 8 of 10 shooting.

Next up for both teams is the Big Ten conference tournament, where they could potentially have a rubber match. The season series between the two teams is currently tied at one win apiece, but the Buckeyes, at least for today, had the last laugh.
