2011 Big Ten Tournament: Indiana Hoosier's Nightmare Regular Season Over, Can They Find Post-Season Redemption?

Indiana HoosiersFinal Record: 12-19 (3-15); #11 Seed In Big Ten Tournament

The Indiana Hoosiers are one of the most decorated universities in college sports, particularly in college basketball. This year, however, the Hoosiers were the worst team in the Big Ten and now their only chance of making the NCAA tournament is to put together a string of great basketball and win the Big Ten conference tournament, a quest that will begin Thursday night against Penn State.

The biggest advantage the Hoosiers will have in this game is that it will be a virtual home game as the tournament is being played in Indianapolis, IN.

The Hoosiers do have a quality win on their resume’, a close victory against then 20th ranked Minnesota. The leading scorer for the Hoosiers is sophomore Christian Watford, who is averaging 16 points per contest and shooting a very solid 38.7 percent from beyond the arc. He is also one of the better free throw shooters in the conference, hitting 84.1 percent of his attempts from the charity stripe.
