Geography Redrawn

Did you see the movie "Deep Impact"? I did, and the way that the Atlantic Coast Conference is expanding, it reminds me of the scene from the movie where a piece of a comet hit the Atlantic and the "coast" suddenly moved far inland.

The ACC will be adding Syracuse and Pittsburgh, to become a 14-team league.

Okay, okay, I could almost buy the Orange as being considered part of the East Coast, if you kinda funneled down from upstate New York or something...(snickering).

But Pittsburgh? You have to cross those pesky Appalachian Mountains to get from Pittsburgh to the coast. Of course, I suppose that Panthers could cross over just about any mountains they wanted to in search of water. I wouldn't be trying to stop them.

And I suppose that if Horned Frogs from Texas Christian University can be included in the Big East next year...oh, never mind.

I need a map.
