Ohio State's basketball squad put their loss to Illinois behind them as they avenged an earlier loss to the Indiana Hoosiers by defeating them 80-63 on Sunday evening. They can continue to raise their stock as they go into Nebraska on Saturday to take on the Cornhuskers. Ohio shouldn't have too much trouble against the Huskers as they are currently an unimpressive 9-8 with only a single win in conference play.
Cleveland State have a slightly busier week than Ohio State do with two games rather than one. After a Friday game against reeling Green Bay (7-10) the more intriguing matchup will come two days later on the 22nd as the Vikings play the Horizon conference leading Milwaukee Panthers.
If Cleveland State can defeat Milwaukee it will put a big nail into the coffin of the Horizon conference standings, with the two teams tied in conference play at 6-2 with Cleveland holding a superior record overall. Ohio State is likely not quite as concerned with their record in the Big Ten with their game against such a weak team, but a win will give them the conference lead in wins with five and help make up for the loss to Illinois.
