After staying undefeated with a 52-49 win against Indiana on Saturday, the Ohio State Buckeyes moved up one spot to No. 7 in this week's Associated Press top 25.
Ohio State received 1,071 votes this week, putting them 21 votes ahead of No. 8 Oregon State. The 7-0 Buckeyes moved up one spot after previous No. 3 South Carolina and previous No. 5 West Virginia lost on Saturday. LSU, which knocked off South Carolina, jumped ahead of Ohio State and is now No. 6.
The Buckeyes are just one of two Big Ten teams ranked this week. Michigan is the only other Big Ten team ranked in the AP top 25, and they are near the bottom of the poll at No. 23. While only two Big Ten teams were ranked, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Penn State all received votes. Ohio State will look to stay undefeated when they host Purdue on Saturday.
