The Ohio State Buckeyes fell two spots in the most recent edition of the SB Nation BlogPoll, down to tenth, after barely squeaking past Indiana 52-49. The Buckeyes remain undefeated at 7-0, but lack a signature win over any other team ranked in the top 25.
The ballot breakdown shows that one blogger ranked OSU as the top team in the country, while another ranked them all the way down at 21st. The Buckeyes remain the highest ranked team in the Big Ten, with the Michigan Wolverines as the only other Big Ten team in the top 25, at 25th.
Meanwhile, the Ohio Bobcats, also 7-0, remain the No. 23 team in the BlogPoll after beating Akron 34-28. Their ballot breakdown shows a vote as high as second overall (oddly the same voter who had Ohio State at No. 1), but most bloggers placed them 23rd-25th.
On Oct. 20 the Buckeyes take on the Purdue Boilermakers, the Bobcats have a week off.
