Purdue vs. Ohio State 2012: Kenny Guiton improbably rallies team to win

When Ohio State Buckeyes backup quarterback Kenny Guiton was forced into Saturday's game after an injury to starter Braxton Miller, things didn't go well off the bat. With Ohio State trailing Purdue 22-14 in the fourth quarter, Guiton threw an interception in his own territory. The Ohio State defense was able to force Purdue to punt, however, and Guiton led the Buckeyes on a game-tying drive culminating with a touchdown pass to Chris Fields.

Ted Glover of Ohio State blog Land-Grant Holy Land was impressed that Guiton was able to overcome his initial struggles:

Kenny Guiton, QB: Yes, you came in cold. Yes, you threw an ugly pick which looked like it might have sealed OSU's fate. But when it mattered most, Kenny Guiton stepped up and created a moment that he will be able to tell his grandkids about one day. That last drive, two point conversion, and then TD drive in OT was as money as money can get.

Guiton finished the day 6-for-11 passing for 77 yards. Ohio State improved to 8-0 with the win.
