The Ohio State Buckeyes moved up one spot to No. 9 in the most recent edition of the SB Nation BlogPoll. The Buckeyes needed overtime to defeat the Purdue Boilermakers, but still moved up in the rankings thanks to a loss from South Carolina, who had been ranked No. 7 last week.
The ballot breakdown shows that Ohio State received one vote as the top team in the country, and one vote all the way down at 19th. Ohio State and Michigan (No. 22) remain the only Big Ten teams in the BlogPoll Top 25.
Ohio was able to move up three spots in the BlogPoll despite not playing last week. The Bobcats' ballot breakdown shows they received one vote as high as No. 8, but far more votes in the 20-25 range.
On Saturday the Buckeyes will take on a Penn State team that Ohio took down to open the season, but has also won five straight. The Bobcats will face the Miami RedHawks.
