2012 AP College Basketball Poll: Buckeyes ranked 4th in preseason rankings

Ohio State is ranked fourth in the preseason rankings.

The Ohio State Buckeyes have opened the 2012-13 college basketball season ranked fourth in the Associated Press poll that was released on Friday.

The Buckeyes are behind Indiana, Louisville and Kentucky who were ranked as the top three teams in the country but ahead of Big 10 rivals No. 5 Michigan and No. 14 Michigan State.

Indiana received 43 first-place votes to earn the top spot in the poll. Louisville and Kentucky received 20 and two first-place votes respectively.

Wisconsin is ranked 23rd which gave the Big 10 five ranked teams in the preseason poll.
