Ohio State vs. Penn State score update: Nittany Lions and Buckeyes tied 7-7 at half

The Ohio State Buckeyes are tied with Penn State, 7-7, at half after the two teams exchanged touchdowns late in the second quarter.

Penn State opened the scoring when they blocked an Ohio State punt attempt and Michael Yancich recovered it for a touchdown to put the Nittany Lions up 7-0 with 6:50 left in the second quarter.

Ohio State answered late in the second quarter with a 12-play, 75-yard drive that ended on a Carlos Hyde 1-yard touchdown run to tie the game, 7-7, with 38 seconds left in the half.

Penn State had an opportunity to score on a six-play, 62-yard drive early in the second quarter but turned the ball over on downs in the red zone after quarterback Matt McGloin completed a pass for 8 yards to Brandon Moseby-Felder on 4th-and-12.

Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller is 4-of-12 passing for 45 yards and has rushed 14 times for 59 yards.
