The Nebraska Cornhuskers (4-1) venture to Columbus to face the Ohio State Buckeyes (5-0) in a game that has huge implications for an Ohio State team chasing perfection.
Following a narrow 17-16 victory over Michigan State last week, the Buckeyes face their biggest test remaining to their perfect record. Quarterback Braxton Miller may not have huge stats, but he's an incredibly efficient passer, completing 63% of his passes on the season to go along with his eight touchdowns, and three interceptions. However, when dealing with Miller it's as much about his legs as arm, with the signal caller also leading Ohio State in rushing with 577 yards on 90 carries, rushing for seven touchdowns. The Huskers haven't faced a dual-threat QB like Miller, and it should be an excellent test for them.
It's the three-headed running game of Nebraska that has caused nightmares for opponents in 2012. Led by Ameer Abdullah (486 yards), and paired with Rex Burkhead give the Cornhuskers two extremely effective running backs. The third element to their running game is QB Taylor Martinez, who has carried the ball 50 times on the year, pairing perfectly with his efficent passing as Martinez is boasting a 169.6 rating on the year.
