Nebraska and Wisconsin will play in the Big Ten championship game on Saturday night to decide who will play Stanford in the Rose Bowl in January.
Nebraska comes into the game with a 10-2 record overall with its only losses coming against UCLA, 36-30, on Sept. 8 and Ohio State, 63-38, on Oct. 6. The 63 points given up against the Buckeyes were the most the Cornhuskers' defense has allowed this season.
Wisconsin narrowly lost to Ohio State at home, 21-14 in overtime, on Nov. 17 for its fourth loss of the season. The Badgers fell in overtime again the following week to Penn State, 24-21, and are entering the Big Ten Championship game having lost two in a row. Wisconsin is 7-5 overall and 4-4 in conference play.
Wisconsin defeated Michigan State 42-39 in last year's conference championship game to advance to play Oregon in the Rose Bowl.
