March Madness Bracket 2012, Memphis Vs. Saint Louis Final Score: Billikens Hold On For 61-54 Win

One more Round of 64 matchup is in the books for the 2012 NCAA Tournament. Another elimination has been recorded in Columbus. In one of Friday night's second-round games, the No. 8 Memphis Tigers went up against the No. 9 Saint Louis Billikens, in one of the most evenly-matched games of the entire bracket. Saint Louis was able to put together a fantastic second half to win the game by a final score of 61-54 and advance in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1998.

The Billikens nailed a three-pointer as the buzzer for the first half sounded, which tied the score at 23-23 to head into the half. Saint Louis relied on the three-pointer again in the second half, as some clutch treys allowed them to take the lead and extend it to seven in the closing minutes. The Tigers sunk a three-pointer of their own in the final minute to cut the Saint Louis lead to four, but the Billikens went up by seven again with less than 10 seconds remaining.

Billikens guard Kwamain Mitchell led all scorers in the game with 22 points.
