It's been a busy recruiting period and a long off season after a coaching and full on regime change, but Urban Meyer's first tenure as coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes will really kick off in earnest as they play their Scarlet and Grey Spring Game on Saturday afternoon.

Meyer is clearly excited to be back at Ohio State, where he coached as a graduate student in the mid 1980's.

"All of it comes back, everything, it's like a full time warp," he says. He remembers his first staff meeting under Earle Bruce, feeling a bit uncomfortable that a former Michigan player named Chuck Heater was an assistant. "I had the hardest time with that. I couldn't believe that a guy from that school was sitting here. Woody Hayes had the whole state mesmerized by the rivalry," he says.

Of course, memories aside there is still a lot of work to do to get the Buckeyes back into the National Title game and beyond for the new coach.
