Just one of three unbeaten Big Ten teams remaining before conference play has even began, the Ohio State Buckeyes are sitting alone atop the conference's Leaders division four weeks into the season. While most of the Big Ten has struggled in key games early this season, the Buckeyes have thrived behind Braxton Miller.
Unfortunately, Ohio State won't be able to appear in the Big Ten title game regardless of its record, due to the postseason ban levied on the program by the NCAA. That should seriously benefit the Wisconsin Badgers, the team most likely to emerge atop the division despite an early season loss to Oregon State.
In the Legends division, a pair of surprising teams are sitting atop the standings, as the Northwestern Wildcats and Minnesota Golden Gophers are both 4-0 through the first four weeks of the season. With both the Iowa Hawkeyes and Michigan Wolverines struggling early, it'll be interesting to see who emerges from that division.
