An impressive 56-10 victory in Urban Meyer's debut as Ohio State head coach was enough to boost the Buckeyes up the ranks of the AP Top 25 Poll this week. Ohio State moved up four spots to No. 14 this week, with one place coming at the expense of archrival Michigan, who fell to No. 19 after a 41-14 loss to Alabama.
Central Florida, the Buckeyes' next opponent, received four votes in this week's poll. The Golden Knights are coming off of a 56-14 win at Akron.
Two Big Ten rivals were also ranked this week. Michigan State rose two spots to No. 11 after an impressive victory over Boise State, while Wisconsin was at No. 13 after their opening win over Northern Iowa.
